About
As a trauma-sensitive yoga instructor with Energy Medicine training and certification in health coaching, I believe in the power of the mind-body connection to effectively manage health and well-being. With a focus on individuals suffering from anxiety, stress, and physical limitations, I offer a multi-faceted approach to wellness. By exploring factors that contribute to dis-ease and stress, we practice strategies such as mindfulness, yoga, physical activity, and food choices to increase overall well-being.My experience and training allows me to offer yoga and breathing techniques to clients in coaching sessions or in separate group classes. My trauma-sensitive classes focus on gentle poses and breath work, which can benefit those with anxiety, depression, or trauma. I am also certified in chair yoga, which is practiced using a chair as a prop, making it accessible to those new to yoga, with balance concerns, or confined to a wheelchair.
Through coaching, I encourage clients to make small, impactful choices for improving their overall health and provide support and guidance for the process. Due to COVID-19, I offer virtual coaching sessions via phone or smart device. I am also available for in-person sessions and am vaccinated for added safety. For those experiencing financial hardships, I offer a sliding fee schedule and a 10% discount for 4 or 6 session packages.

For Christmas, I decided to surprise my father with several pre-paid yoga sessions with Sarah. When searching for a yoga instructor, my main criteria was finding someone who offered personalized sessions in the comfort of his home. Additionally, it was crucial that the instructor had experience working with older clients and beginners. Sarah met all of these requirements and has exceeded my expectations. My father has benefitted greatly from the yoga sessions and has even continued working with Sarah beyond the sessions I gifted him.
