Where to start? Wow. Without a doubt, hiring Richie for our wedding was the best decision we made. Initially, the thought of having to learn a dance filled us with dread, and we feared we would make fools of ourselves. But we were so wrong. Even four months after our wedding, we still can't stop watching our dance. Let's go back a bit. The bride, me, has actually known Richie since I was 15 when he choreographed my quinceañera dance - another fantastic experience working with him as our choreographer. Over the past 13 years, not only has Richie grown in his dance abilities, but also in his professionalism. Working with him is an absolute pleasure. His patience, flexibility, honesty, and kindness shine through his actions. He is the epitome of a great teacher. Whether it was 13 years ago or 4 months ago, Richie remains an exceptional teacher. He knows how to help you understand something you're struggling with. If your body doesn't move a certain way, Richie breaks down the movements for you, inch by inch. My husband and I opted for a song mashup. We started with a slow romantic song, transitioning to a fast one and back to a slow one. Not only did Richie choreograph it on the spot, but he also mixed the music for us. We worked on our dance for weeks, and it was like therapy for us. Amidst the hectic wedding planning, family drama, and Covid, our practices with Richie were our weekly ritual. We worked together as a team, helped each other, pushed each other, and shared some laughs and tears. It was the best thing we could have ever done leading up to our wedding day. Our guests were wowed, our families were impressed, but, most of all, we were proud of what we achieved together with Richie's incredible creativity.
