Alley CAT, previously known as Attic Cat along with its subsidiary, SF Rodent Control, is a family-owned and operated Rodent Extermination Company that holds the Diamond certification. Our main objective is to transform homes into a secure and rodent-free abode using no poisonous or toxic chemicals.

We are proud to provide services to the entire Greater Bay Area, focusing on assisting residents in creating a rat and mice free environment. Our services include rodent control, pest prevention, rodent removal and clean-up, attic cleaning, attic decontamination, and more.

Attic Cat provided a detailed rodentproofing service for our century-old residence, while also fitting a vapor barrier in the crawlspace. The technician was pleasant and informative about the work done, and its purpose. They have kept up with trap checks, leaving us confident that they will honor their warranty if any rodents resurface. Initially, our friends were doubtful that such a task was achievable in our region, where rodents are a year-round issue. Nonetheless, as far as we can observe, the work has proven to be impressively successful!

Although they didn't complete the work, Lee provided invaluable expertise by providing a comprehensive breakdown of the necessary insulation measures for the attic, crawl space, and walls. Additionally, they recommended using an attic fan to combat the ongoing heat wave. Their knowledge was impressive, and I will consider them for future projects.

Attic Cat’s service has left me very pleased. My English isn’t great, but I required their assistance. Niv arrived at my residence accompanied by José, an employee who speaks Spanish fluently, to explain the details of the work and offer an estimate. Their thoroughness in my basement was greatly appreciated, as they cleaned everything, sealed up potential entrances for rats and mice both inside and outside the dwelling, and disposed of the wooden and cardboard materials. After spraying, they set up traps to double-check everything was up to par. They will return next week to ensure there is “no activity.” Many thanks to Joseph and Adali for their wonderful work! They were beyond friendly and put me at ease in controlling the situation. I thank Attic Cat for employing such qualified individuals.

Attic Cat provides complete rodent removal services, which includes plugging holes and setting traps. We scheduled an initial inspection which was prompt and simple, and Niv explained the procedures in a clear way. Although their services were expensive, we decided to choose them due to their three-year warranty, as another company only offered four visits at half the price. We ended up contacting Attic Cat several times, even though the initial sealing job was not effective since we endured our rat king's torment for nearly two months after. Nevertheless, Niv and his team were always available and responsive whenever we asked for extra visits. We want to acknowledge the efforts made by Jose and his aide (we can't recall his name) who thoroughly searched our home to catch the rat. If you require a complete removal service, we suggest you engage with Attic Cat and request Jose by name.

In September and October, we noticed that rats had invaded our older home, as we could hear constant chewing and scratching. We tried to remedy the situation ourselves for several weeks, but eventually called several pest control companies. Attic Cat stood out, as they provided a thorough inspection and estimate of our home free of charge. Niv, the inspector, took photos of the attic and crawl space, revealing a sizeable rat population. After receiving a reasonable estimate, we scheduled an appointment for the following week and were offered installment payments. Though Niv was not present for the appointment, my son reported that the crew worked very professionally, removing debris and sealing all visible openings. While some residual rat noise persisted, it has significantly decreased, and we suspect that a few rats were trapped outside or inside our home. We have a dead rat smell in one spot, but overall we are feeling much better. Niv promised a 3-year warranty and free returns, giving us assurance in our choice to use Attic Cat. In November, Niv made a follow-up visit and scheduled a free additional cleanup after Thanksgiving, acknowledging that residual presence still existed. We have been rat-free for over two weeks now, and are very relieved.
