About
With over 30 years of experience in both teaching and competing, I am a certified PTR instructor and a former professional and college tennis player. I have worked with players from all three NCAA divisions and even touring professionals. My teaching style incorporates both modern tennis techniques and a strong focus on the mental aspect of the game. For individual lessons, my fee is $75 per hour, and I provide access to indoor courts. Prior to my initial lesson with Mauro, I lacked any prior acquaintance with playing tennis. However, Mauro exhibited patience throughout the session, utilizing diverse modes of explanation to ensure my comprehension. His guidance assisted me in building a foundation for my stroke. Additionally, he offered tailored suggestions for me to practice before our next appointment and established a framework for future lessons should I elect to pursue further instruction.

My 14 year old son has received excellent tennis coaching from Mauro. He could learn a lot from just one session with him. Mauro is exceptionally patient, and he provides feedback and recommendations throughout the lessons. My son has shown great improvement in tennis skills despite only having attended two sessions with Mauro so far.
