My Vinyasa Yoga classes focus on linking breath to movement through a wide range of poses. Drawing inspiration from various movement practices such as weight lifting, jiu-jitsu, and mobility, my vinyasa style is unconventional yet effective, much to the benefit of my students.

Budokon Yoga is another style I offer, which was developed by martial arts and yoga master, Cameron Shayne. The Budokon Yoga Primary Series focuses on seven distinct sections of controlled movements, designed to improve overall mobility, agility, flexibility, and strength. The focus is on the transitions between postures rather than holding postures.

As part of my private mobility offerings, I offer Budokon Mobility by Shayne, which focuses on transitions through five primary positions: upright, side body, supine, prone, and inverted. Our training program is based on movement from a joint perspective which helps refine overlooked subtle areas of the body. We also address the athletic and martial arts application of Budokon Mobility, making it a complete and comprehensive training program.

My journey into yoga started in 2012 when a friend recommended Power Vinyasa Yoga to me. Since then, I’ve completed a 200-hour teacher training certification through CorePower Yoga in 2017, and a 500-hour Budokon Mixed Movement Arts Training in 2021. I am also certified in 50-hour Budokon Yoga as well as 50-hour Budokon Mobility.

My teaching style focuses on understanding the body’s anatomy and using leverage and muscle activation to achieve greater depth in yoga shapes. I strongly believe that yoga should be practiced beyond the studio and integrated into everyday life. With my unconventional yet effective teaching style, I aim to provide my students with lifelong learning and improve their overall movement practices.
