The practice of yoga is adaptable and can vary on a daily basis depending on the condition of your physical body, energy level, and mood. With my expertise as an RYT 500 and Yoga Alliance Certified instructor, I will tailor each session to suit your needs - it will be challenging yet accessible and most importantly, leave you feeling rejuvenated.

During each session, you will engage in a series of movements that will enhance your strength, flexibility, stamina, and alignment on the mat. Our practice will also include pranayama and meditation, which will create a mindfulness that extends beyond the mat.

Years ago, I had a couple of unsatisfactory encounters with yoga classes and had since avoided it altogether. However, I ultimately opted for a private session and it was a wise decision. Despite being 53 and having hip problems from prior running and weightlifting, Arlene was an excellent instructor who set a comfortable pace and provided clear explanations. After my initial appointment, I felt much better and even returned for more classes. I highly recommend Arlene as she possesses the rare blend of expertise, warmth, and supportive nature.

This is the first time in my life where exercise is something I willingly and happily commit to. Yoga is something I look forward to because it leaves me feeling better both mentally and physically. What sets Arleen from Align apart from other trainers or classes is that I have never been judged on my lack of experience or felt intimidated by the pace of instruction. Arleen puts a great deal of thought and care into her class preparations and tailors her instruction to the level of expertise of each student. Thanks to her tutelage, I have become much more confident and comfortable in my practice. Yoga has been crucial in strengthening my back and core muscles, which has dramatically reduced the serious, ongoing pain I have been experiencing for years. Arleen is always in tune and considerate of my trouble spots, while still pushing me to become healthier and stronger. Following each class, she provides tips on stretches and exercises that can be done at home, and before the next class, she checks in to see how I am feeling and if there are any other concerns she should address. I highly recommend doing yoga with Arleen as it is ideal for anyone looking to improve their strength, flexibility, and overall physical and mental health.
