Hello there! I'm Telesmar Sanchez, a proficient jazz guitarist and guitar tutor who can instruct you in any style of guitar playing that catches your fancy, be it blues, rock, pop, funk, jazz, and more. In addition to playing songs, I also cover music theory, sight-reading, and songwriting in my lessons. I believe in a well-rounded approach to teaching, where you not only learn to play your favourite tunes, but also grasp how they operate and discover how to create your own music. My main objective as your instructor is to endow you with the necessary tools to establish a positive and stimulating relationship with your instrument.
I have an astounding 17 years of experience playing the guitar, and I'm currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in jazz guitar performance at CalArts. I have played in various gigs belonging to a vast array of genres, and I've taught numerous pupils of all ages and proficiency levels. Teaching and assisting others in deepening their bond with music is my forte, and I'm eager to explore the guitar with you.
