At my studio in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, I offer guitar lessons alongside music theory and ear training. However, for music theory lessons, online sessions are available. In-person lessons can also be arranged at the student's home for a reasonable travel fee.
My name is Roger and I'm a Brooklyn-based guitarist. I hold a degree in guitar performance and jazz composition from Berklee College of Music and have toured in the US and Asia. When I'm not performing at local venues in NYC, I focus on teaching and passing on my knowledge and skills.
My lessons aim to improve your instrumental skills such as fingerboard knowledge and technique, as well as enhance your overall musicianship, including the ability to study guitar independently, ear training, and learning songs and harmony. During the first class, we'll discuss your specific needs and create a personalized plan to cater to those requirements.
Aside from lessons, I also provide jazz music entertainment services in various configurations, including solo, duo, trio or quartet. Feel free to check out my music videos below. I've previously performed at weddings, fundraising events, and private parties.
