I have had the pleasure of teaching individuals of all ages and backgrounds, ranging from beginners to super-advanced recording artists of fame. Throughout my career, I have performed with legends of the music business, including guitar giants and heroes, and have received numerous reviews, awards, accolades, and references in recognition of my outstanding work. Through my personal method, I have helped countless individuals achieve their goals, making them into great guitarists. Currently, I am writing my Groovy Guitar Time Method for publication. As a secular humanist hippie, guru, healer, and extreme and brilliant guitarist, I am confident that I am the best guitar teacher available.

During the Covid-19 era, most of my students have opted for remote lessons online via FaceTime or Skype. It has been a successful approach thus far and may be a suitable option for you if you are unable to travel to me. However, if you prefer in-person lessons, you must provide proof that you do not have Covid-19 and have received your Covid vaccinations. My studio apartment in Keego is a warm and welcoming space that may transport you back to the hippie-era with its groovy and far-out vibe. The advantage of in-person lessons is the physical aspect, where I can offer hands-on technique and skill development.
As a guitar teacher, I genuinely love my job and take pleasure in making great and wonderful guitarists and musicians. Building a personal relationship with my students is important to me, as it promotes lifelong friendships and allows me to share knowledge, skills, abilities, and care and understanding in a way that is unique to each individual. Much of guitar lessons go beyond music and delve into personal aspects of life, where I use my background in psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience to help with healing, listening to problems, and providing advice. It is a gratifying experience to watch my students grow and succeed in their musical journeys. I guarantee that studying with me will be a groovy, fab, hip, far-out, a trip, flipped out, and fun experience!

Throughout the 20 lessons I have had with Robert, I have gained an extensive knowledge of playing the guitar and what it truly takes to be a skilled guitarist. Robert has taught me the essential scales that every new guitarist must learn, including Major, Minor, Dominant 7, and Blues scales. Additionally, I comprehensively learned each scale's five forms, connected them, and played them in different keys.
Thanks to this vast knowledge, I can now confidently play along with songs by identifying their keys. For example, I quickly learned "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" in A minor and soon progressed to soloing. Previously, soloing was an unpredictable gamble for me, but after understanding music theory and the fretboard, it felt like I had unlocked a new dimension of the guitar.
Learning under Robert requires dedication, unwavering commitment, and hard work. However, his honesty and expertise are unparalleled, and adhering to his teachings yield tremendous improvements in playing.
I am grateful for the chance encounter with Robert while searching for a guitar teacher and his profound understanding of music and the guitar. He is undoubtedly the best music teacher I have ever met. Take lessons with him, and you will undoubtedly learn a lot.

I've completed two guitar lessons so far, with my third one later tonight. Despite this, I'd like to give a preliminary assessment of my skills at this early stage. As a 54-year-old, I've been dabbling in guitar playing for about a year, using my prior education in various musical instruments and my passion for music to teach myself. Like many, learning guitar has been a lifelong goal of mine, one that I'm finally pursuing.
Robbie, my instructor, has identified several areas of improvement in my technique and has given me specific exercises to address them. He's also introduced new material that reinforces my knowledge of music theory. He truly understands the core concepts of guitar playing and is able to teach them in a way that combines technical theory with an understanding of how different techniques elicit different emotional responses.
Although I feel like I'm struggling to keep up with the material, it's because Robbie knows how to push me just enough to enhance my skills. He's personable yet demanding, which motivates me to do better. In conclusion, I'm grateful to have such a knowledgeable and encouraging instructor like Robbie to help me achieve my goals.

As a beginner, I began receiving guitar lessons from Robert eight months back. With his exceptional training, I have now become capable of playing bar chords, various scales, blues riffs, and even songs from my favorite artists. Robert's teaching method is highly comprehensive, making sure every student grasps music theory, so they can effortlessly perform with others. Any level of skill can benefit immensely from Robert's expertise. He is an adept guitar player and a lovely individual. Opting to learn from him has been among the best choices of my life. Not only is he my guitar teacher, but also a friend with whom I eagerly await spending time every week. For an affordable and enriching experience that challenges you, take guitar lessons from Robert Noll. You will not regret it!
