As a celebrant with over thirteen years of experience, I specialize in creating "Soft Ceremonies" that are non-denominational, non-judgmental, and stress-free while still being meaningful and memorable with a touch of romance. I take care to ensure that even the smallest ceremonies receive the attention they deserve while making sure that larger ceremonies feel warm, personal, and intimate. My ceremonies are easily personalized to become your ceremony.
I am based in Pioneer, Ca, and offer discounts for locals as well as military personnel. I serve areas up and down the Gold Country Corridor, as well as Napa Valley, South Lake Tahoe, and Yosemite.
While I understand the importance of your occasion, I believe that weddings should also be enjoyable and light-hearted, with moments of laughter and tears. I am happy to officiate for Vow Renewals, Baptisms, Celebrations of Life, Formal Blessings, and even offer motivational speeches.
As a fully COVID vaccinated and triple-boosted celebrant, I make sure to provide a safe and secure environment for your ceremony. Unfortunately, I am not licensed to officiate in Nevada.

Absolutely amazing! If I could rate Reverend James Marques more than 5 stars, I definitely would. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Reverend Marques crafted a heartfelt and tailored ceremony that was perfect for my husband and me. The time and effort he put into our ceremony was exceptional. He was professional, courteous, and respectful from beginning to end. He was also quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. Even when I hadn't yet decided on a location for the ceremony, he offered invaluable help and ended up recommending the most ideal spot for us.
