With over 25 years of experience teaching and playing the drums, I have played in both local and international gigs and tours, studio work, and all styles of music. I attended Anton Bruckner University, where I received a degree in performance and teaching drums. I provide lessons for a variety of styles, including rock, pop, funk, jazz, soul, reggae, hiphop, salsa, afro Cuban, classical, and rudimental drumming.
I have worked with kids, teenagers, and adults in multiple music institutions and given masterclasses around the world, including the USA. I am dedicated and passionate about teaching, using a positive attitude and a teaching concept that fits each student. I provide sheet music, music books, playalongs, mp3s, and more.
I offer lessons in my Brooklyn studio or in your home. Please contact me with any questions. Along with teaching, I am an active player on the NYC music scene, regularly performing with renowned musicians such as Milo Z, Assaf Kehati, Joel Frahm, Joe Alterman, Dan Lipsitz, and James Cammack.
I have a wealth of materials on topics such as stick control, various styles of music, rudiments, snare drum technique, grooves, fills, and more. Seeing my students progress and how music enriches their lives is most rewarding.

A few months ago, my son found out about Peter through a school friend and began taking drum lessons. Although I am not musically inclined, I can hear a noticeable improvement in my son's playing each week.
