It's easy to use our speaking voice to communicate, but singing can be just as straightforward. Together, we'll work on increasing your range, reducing tension while singing, establishing a foundation for belt technique, making strong acting choices, and building confidence.
My teaching values emphasize that if you can speak, then you can sing. I use speech exercises to find your natural singing voice and eliminate any unnecessary effort. Singing is a personal art form that allows us to choose from a variety of sounds. As your teacher, I'll support your journey and encourage you to challenge yourself and your preconceived notions. We'll also create achievable goals and customize exercises based on vocal science principles.
Additionally, my specialty is Healthy Belting. I offer a technique that is safe, effortless, and sustainable, allowing my students to tackle modern songs without strain and enhance their vocal range.
