Despite some unfortunate weather-induced interruptions, the Deck Tech team worked tirelessly to complete the project within a week. Every day, Joe, Adam, and another employee were on site, working efficiently and respectfully, while keeping the area clean despite the muddy conditions. The end result surpassed our expectations: a beautiful and sturdy deck, assembled with great effort and care. Despite a few minor hiccups, the project was delivered largely seamlessly. In Autumn of 2020, New View Construction constructed an exquisite deck and pergola for us, displaying excellent workmanship. Due to the unprecedented events of the year, material shortages posed a challenge and caused significant delays in the project's completion. Despite the setbacks caused by the pandemic, I do not hold New View accountable for the situation. We entered a contract on June 6, 2020, and the work was concluded on October 27, 2020. While the outcome was satisfactory, it would have positively impacted our experience if they had communicated the delays more promptly. Though they did inform us of the foreseeable delays towards the end of the project, I believe that they could have kept us better informed especially at the initial stages. I lost countless hours of sleep worrying if our agreement would be fulfilled, which proved needless in the end. Nonetheless, New View delivered everything according to the contract, and we are thrilled with the final product.
