Hi there! For the past decade, I've taught guitar and performed professionally, with the most recent five years spent in New York City. In 2017, I earned my Bachelor's in Music from the esteemed Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. Teaching is my true passion, and my greatest strength lies in simplifying complex topics for beginners. I'm experienced in a variety of genres spanning jazz, classical, improvisation, rock, and blues, as well as composition (I'm the proud recipient of a Downbeat Award) and music theory. My ultimate aim is to inspire a love of music within everyone I teach by creating tailored, goal-focused lessons. The cherry on top? My competitive rates! I'm conveniently located in Sunset Park (36th St), accessible from the D, N, and R trains, but I'm also happy to travel to my students if that's more convenient for them.
